Sustainable Gift Shopping:

All Eco: A beautiful and bright female-owned shop tucked away in the Glebe, this store has all your bath, beauty, and home goods needed for sustainable living. They even carry men's skin and shave products for the guys in your life. Not sure what to get your loved one? They offer gift cards too. All Eco has both in-person and online shopping options to suit your needs!

Nu Grocery: Being Ottawa’s very own zero-waste grocery store, their two locations have much more than food! From their liquid refill bar, to skincare, to locally-made treats, Nu has an abundance of great sustainable gifts. There are two Nu locations in Ottawa, and online shopping options where your purchases will be packaged completely plastic-free.

terra20: terra20 is a business that acts small but thinks big. They strive to bring everyday essentials to the market that are better for both people and planet. From household cleaners, to laundry products, to hair and body care, they offer their in-house brands as well as products from partner brands. All of the products they carry are free of 18 harmful ingredients banned by the company. There are three terra20 locations in Ottawa, as well as online shopping available.

The Valley Candle Co.: Calling all Ottawa lovers! The Valley Candle Co. makes eco-conscious candles with soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and are fragranced with unique essential oil blends. The candles are named after different neighbourhoods in Ottawa, and each one captures the distinctive quality and imagery associated with its namesake neighbourhood. Each candle is wicked by hand, hand poured in small batches. The Valley Candle Co. uses recyclable containers and environmentally friendly shipping materials.

Crafted Together Co.: Say goodbye to plastic ornaments and home accessories! Sam and Caroline, a husband and wife duo, are the creators of handcrafted, hand lettered home decor. From wall hangings to welcome signs, this team has the most beautiful pieces around. Sam takes care of the woodwork and passes off the signs to Caroline for some hand lettered calligraphy lettering, doodles, and special touches. While they create for all occasions, Christmas is their favourite time of year and they have festive and cheerful decorations for all!

Ottawa Farmer’s and Christmas Market: Running every Saturday and Sunday leading up to Christmas inside Lansdowne Pavillion, this city favourite has an amazing roster of local vendors and artisans (over 150!). Ottawa Farmers’ Market is a producer-run organization that features vendors that are all within 100km of Ottawa. Canned goods, jewellery, kitchen accessories, home décor – you're sure to find something here for anyone on your holiday gift list.
